In 2005, Western Reserve Public Media achieved a significant milestone with the completion of
our federally mandated conversion to digital broadcast. While
the station must continue to broadcast its analog signal until
February 2009, we recently launched our digital broadcasting
services. Combined, our analog and digital services provide
35,040 hours of commercial-free television each year.
Western Reserve Public Media’s digital services currently offer the following:
45.1 and 49.1: PBS high-definition service (HDTV)
broadcasts 24 hours a day
45.2 and 49.2: Analog service rebroadcasts 24 hours
a day
