Resources
PBS Teachers presents “Access, Analyze, Act:
A Blueprint for 21st Century Civic Engagement,” a comprehensive
election resources Web site, at www.pbs.org/teachers/vote2008.
Designed
in partnership with Temple University’s Media

created by public broadcasting radio and television stations
through the CPB-funded Election Collaboration. They include
the following:

the power of social media while
promoting your students’ civic engagement. Western Reserve Public Media has free printed copies of this guide. For
more information, call Laura Jarvis at 1-800-554-4549.
Lesson Plans
and Interactives: Address American history and civics standards
and help your students participate in the
election
process with elementary and secondary resources.
Tools: Invite students to share their opinions, track candidates and
explore issues with new Web-based tools from public
radio and television stations.
